SMDS-VIII: Shillong, Meghalaya

Date: 04th – 06th November 2019

The Eighth summit took place from 04th-06th November 2019 held in North Eastern Council, Shillong, Meghalaya. This year the theme proposed a discussion on “Sustainable Mountain Initiative for Livelihood and Entrepreneurship Youth”. The Summit was inaugurated by Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma. During the event, Shri Sachidanand Bharti who was nominated by SDFU, Uttarakhand was also awarded the Dr. R.S.Tolia Award- 2019.

Shri STS Lepcha (Vice Chairman, SDFU), from Uttarakhand, participated in the Sustainable Mountain Development Summit at Shillong, Meghalaya.

Dr. Rajendra Dobhal (Chairman, SDFU), Shri STS Lepcha (Vice Chairman, SDFU), Smt Binita Shah (Secretary, SDFU), Shri Anoop Nautiyal, Dr. Piyush Joshi, Shri Ratan Aswal, Shri Ganesh Kala, Shri Akhilesh DiShrii, Shri Ajay Rawat Ghildiyal, Shri Anil Bahuguna, Smt Divya Rawat and Shri Netrapal Singh Yadav from Uttarakhand participated in the Sustainable Mountain Development Summit at Solan, Himachal Pradesh.
