SMDS-VI: Aizawl, Mizoram

The Sixth summit was hosted by the Mizoram Sustainable Development Foundation (MSDF). The themes proposed for discussion on Climate Change & Sustainable Mountain cities and intellectual scrutiny in this summit conform with the IMI vision and mission with the hope of conceptualizing more specific targets and solutions that would benefit the mountain states. Keeping in mind the geographical aspects of the hill’s states where the forest cover areas are vast, the majority of people living in these areas depend upon it for livelihood.

Dr. Rajendra Dobhal (Chairman, SDFU), Shri Krishan Rautela (Councilor, SDFU) and Shri Anoop Nautiyal (Member, SDFU) participated in the Sustainable Mountain Development Summit at Mizoram University, Aizawl, Mizoram.
