SMDS-II: Gangtok, Sikkim

The second Summit of the Indian Mountain Initiative was held in Chintan Bhawan, Gangtok on the 25th-26th May 2012. It was organized by the Ecotourism and Conservation Society of Sikkim (ECOSS) and attended by over 250 delegates from the eleven Himalayan states of India and the hill district of Darjeeling. The theme was Water, Forests & Communities, and Mountain Livelihoods.
